I am an assistant professor (W1) in the Department of Physics at RWTH Aachen. Previously, I was PostDoc at EPFL in Wulfram Gerstner’s Lab and Swartz Fellow at Harvard’s Center for Brain Science working with Haim Sompolinsky.

Timm Vordermark

MSc Student

I am currently a physics master student at RWTH Aachen within the condensed matter theory track, writing my master thesis at Alexander van Meegen’s Lab. Previously I finished a M.Sc. in Finance at NOVA SBE in Lisbon after completing my Bachelor in Physics at RWTH. My research interests are in the area of statistical mechanics of neural networks, specifically focussing on the dynamics of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs).
